Who it’s for

Students, teachers and researchers at a school, college, university or similar institution. Each person gets their own license.

Every licensed tool, nothing cut down. The same wavelens, wavscan and wavsummary as everyone else, with every check and every report, plus any licensed tool we add later. (wavgen and wavchan are free for everyone and need no license.)
One year, renewable. The license runs for a year. Renew it by asking again while you’re still studying, teaching or researching.
Normal support. Email support at the same level as the Personal license — see Support.
Works offline. Like every WaveLens license, it is checked on your own machine; nothing is sent anywhere when the tools run.

An Education license is for teaching, study, research and other non-commercial use — not for paid work, or for a client or an employer.
It is for one person and is not to be shared.
The license carries your name. The footer of every report made with it shows the license type, your name and the expiry date.
We may decline a request, or not renew a license, if the address isn’t from an educational institution or these conditions aren’t met.

Fill in the form below, using the email address your school, college or university gave you.
We check that the address belongs to an educational institution and email your license file to it. There is nothing to upload: no ID, no letter.
Download the current version from the Download page, save the license file as wavelens.lic in the same folder as the programs, and run wavelens license info to check it. Use the current version — older builds don’t recognize Education licenses.
